About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Appliance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with a variety of domestic appliances and multiple brands. You will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of appliances at customer locations throughout Hertfordshire
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of domestic appliances including washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, and dryers.
Work with multiple appliance brands, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication and professional interactions with clients.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.
Manage and prioritize a daily schedule of service calls efficiently.
Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner and meet safety standards.
Keep up-to-date with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company-provided vehicle and tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Domestic Appliance Engineer.
In-depth knowledge of various domestic appliances and multiple brands.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Full, clean driving licence is essential.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are preferred.
Ability to use and understand technical manuals and schematics.
