We are seeking an experienced and competent Vehicle Technician to join our team at our reputable independent garage in Smethwick, West Midlands. This role is ideal for professionals who can carry out MOTs and those with a Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair who are eager to train as MOT Testers.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting MOT tests and ensuring compliance with DVSA standards
Performing a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks
Utilizing diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues
Ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service
Supporting and mentoring junior technicians as needed
Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
MOT Tester certification (preferred, but training available for the right candidates)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Salary:
Competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £40,000, based on experience and qualifications
