Basic salary £30,000 - £40,000 Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of lifting equipment, including but not limited to:
Fall arrest blocks
Overhead cranes
Manual and electric chain hoists
Goods lifts
Construction equipment
Wire rope winches and pulling machines
Chain slings
Hydraulic jacks
Pallet trucks
Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Conduct overhauls on chain hoists and lever hoists.
Repair chain slings using available spare parts and expertise.
Carry out static and dynamic load testing up to 50 tonnes using hand test weights and mass weights, either in our workshop or on-site at client locations.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing lifting equipment.
Knowledge of various types of lifting equipment and their specific servicing needs.
Ability to perform load testing and diagnose faults accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
