An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Peterborough area for an experienced HGV Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Servicing
- Fault Finding - using high tech Diagnostic Equipment
- An understanding of electronics and hydraulics
- Repairs - to include mechanical and ancillary equipment, hydraulics, chassis and bodywork, ensuring that the repairs undertaken are carried out efficiently and cost effectively
- MOT Preparation
- Vehicle Inspections
- Good customer service ethos with a presentable and professional image
- Completion of all relevant paperwork ensuring that all work is Compliant
Qualifications/ Experience:
Quick learner
Excellent communication skills
Problem Solving
Industry Knowledge is a must
PC Hardware knowledge is an advantage
Flexible
You must have a history within the HGV engineering industry to apply for this position
