My client are an industry leader within the pest control industry, Covering a number of contracts throughout the Middlesex

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Middlesex area for an experienced Pest Control Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Determine the type of pests involved and the appropriate treatment methods.
- Develop comprehensive pest control plans based on the findings of inspections.
- Select and apply appropriate pesticides, baits, traps, or other control methods, considering safety and environmental impact.
- Safely and effectively apply pest control treatments to eliminate or manage infestations.
- Utilize equipment such as sprayers, bait stations, and dust applicators according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Implement strategies for controlling and preventing infestations of rodents, insects, and other pests.
- Set traps, apply insecticides, and implement exclusion methods to prevent future pest entry.
- Handle situations involving wildlife pests, such as raccoons, squirrels, or birds.
- Implement humane removal methods and advise on preventive measures to avoid future wildlife intrusions.
- Educate customers on pest prevention measures and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Communicate clearly about the treatment process, safety precautions, and any necessary follow-up actions.
- Maintain detailed records of pest control activities, including inspection reports, treatment plans, and the chemicals used.
- Complete service reports and provide documentation to clients as needed.
- Ensure that pest control equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for effective use.
- Report any equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding the use of pesticides and other pest control methods.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and participate in ongoing training to maintain certification.
- Follow established safety procedures to protect yourself, clients, and the environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and handle chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other pest control technicians and professionals to address challenging infestations or unique situations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and support staff to coordinate schedules and share information.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in pest control technology, treatment methods, and industry best practices.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
