We are seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Class 4 MOT tests and a range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about the automotive industry, has a keen eye for detail, and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines.
Diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Communicate effectively with customers and provide professional advice on vehicle care and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4).
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester.
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence.
