Position: Weighing Equipment Field Service Engineer
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
Install, calibrate, and commission a variety of weighing equipment, including scales, balances, and weighing systems.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on weighing equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, both on-site and remotely, using advanced tools and techniques.
Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
Keep accurate records of service activities, including maintenance reports, service tickets, and inventory management.
Conduct training sessions for clients' personnel to enhance their understanding of the equipment and its operation.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in weighing equipment to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications:
Strong technical background with knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing technical issues using appropriate tools.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the designated region.
